BrookView is an aptly named, enchanting log cabin atop a lovely brook. Set in the woods in Fair Mountain Acres and surrounded by rhododendron, but less than 5 miles from downtown Blowing Rock. This large 2,400 square foot, air-conditioned home provides three outside porches (all furnished with comfortable seating and tables for dining). The top back porch is screened and overlooks the brook. Along with the brook, the secluded one acre lot includes a tire swing and fire pit for cooking hot dogs or smores with the family.As you enter BrookView you will find a great room with living area with a two story fireplace, a kitchen and dining area. The living area has a large stone 2-story fireplace with gas logs and a brand new 60″ HDTV with a Blu-Ray player and surround sound. The master bedroom is on the main level and comes with a king bed, 50″ HDTV, and private bathroom. Upstairs you have the open loft that has a queen bed and overlooks the great room. Also, you will find an upstairs bedroom with a king bed, TV, and another bathroom.
