Multiple kitchens and living areas are a bonus for a big group.Bedrooms include 2 with queen-size beds and one with a twin-over-queen bunk bed. 2 sofas sleep 2 more for 8 or 9 guests total – perfect for multi-family trips and couples getaways.Both queen-size bedrooms let you keep your luggage out of the way, thanks to big walk-in closets. But you can pack light: there’s a coin-operated washer and dryer in the basement.Take your morning coffee to the balcony, which has an unobstructed view of North Park, spend the day exploring and then gather for a BBQ in the backyard or on the balcony or cook inside: the kitchen is fully equipped and stocked as completely as my own kitchen at home.This rental was designed to be lively, colorful, and inviting, with its own California flavor. Lots of primary colors and fun patterns in the bedrooms and living area, plus rich hardwood floors and mid-century-inspired design — like the 8-person dining table with tulip chairs. All of the other furnishings are brand-new, too.Other goodies at the apartment: Free WiFi throughout, air-conditioning, and a flat-screen TV with Netflix.Take your morning coffee to the balcony, which has an unobstructed view of North Park. Guests love the Hillcrest and North Park’s neighborhood vibe. If you want a bit more, it’s just 3 miles from downtown and The Gaslamp and the Convention Center. Century-old architecture and the ringing of church bells during the day in North Park add to its historic feel. And my house fits right in!No need to worry about a car. You have your pick of coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques just a few blocks away. Easy public transport is just around the corner, taking you to downtown and all places San Diego.
