Description

Enjoy the small frog pond and the sound of the waterfall in the back yard. Relax on any one of the 5 balconies or decks all furnished with comfortable wicker. Enjoy the two water views of both the river and Penobscot Bay. Swing on one of the tire swings, relax in the hammock, walk through the grounds and enjoy the gardens, serene landscape and the 17 tall oak trees in the back yard near the gazebo. Hang by the fire pit, play some horseshoes or croquet. Inside you’ll find the original pumpkin pine floors on all three floors, a beautiful parlor stove and wood cookstove, a grandfather clock, 3- season porch, grand dining room, propane stove in the kitchen with 6 burners, dishwasher, claw foot tub, central air, 5 fireplaces, a sun porch, relax in the lounge with the big screen tv and enjoy the antiques throughout the home that will take you back in time, to the early 1880’s. The six bedrooms all have new blinds and 450 thread, soft cotton sheets on every bed. Access to the river is just across the road along with a canoe, paddles and life jackets. Enjoy this wonderful home in a quiet, friendly neighborhood.
