There’s plenty to do in any direction, with all of the notable sights of Downtown Savannah within walking/biking distance! The numerous biking lanes and crosswalks means that all of Savannah is easily accessible from the cottage. Some recommendations for nearby areas to explore are Forsyth Park, the Telfair Museum of Art, the Owens-Thomas House, City Market, and the Plant Riverside District.The cottage is within walking distance to the bus stop; buses run all over downtown Savannah and even offer free rides for tourists during certain times of the day. The cottage also has plenty of street parking directly in front of it and on the streets to either side of it, if you are bringing your own vehicle. Finally, the app “Downtowner” offers free taxi services for the Savannah downtown area. Hours are limited for Downtowner however, so please make sure to check hours before planning on utilizing it.
