Locals head to Echo Mountain, Eldora (near Boulder), or Loveland (near Georgetown) for a more low-key experience. We’re also within a few hours of Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain.This location is the perfect jumping-off point for exploring the best of Denver and the Rockies! But, of course, it’s impossible to see everything in one visit, so we look forward to hosting you again after you fall in love with Mile High Life.Getting Around:If you’ve never been to Denver, getting oriented is easy. The Rocky Mountains are to the West, and Downtown is a 5-minute drive West of where you will be staying. I-70 West will take you into the mountains and straight to the ski areas. I-25 will bring you directly to Fort Collins to the North and Colorado Springs to the South. The 36 takes you to Boulder and eventually the Rocky Mountain National Park gateway towns of Lyons and Estes Park.Denver is a highly walkable city. In addition to the nearby Uptown and Downtown Denver, the nearby Five Points, Curtis Park, and Union Station neighborhoods are excellent choices for strolling. Prefer to do your exploring on two wheels? Grab a B-Cycle and get pedaling! There are multiple B-Cycle stations in the neighborhood, including one just a block away at 2001 E 17th Ave. For those without a car, we recommend utilizing Uber or Lyft. Premier attractions are a short, inexpensive ride away.
