A beach holiday located just off Manatee Avenue Bridge, a narrow, sun-bleached road bridge connection between the mainland and the Gulf of Mexico feels like a return to a less hurried, more innocent age. Enter an island of sand dunes and sunflowers, pine trees and sea oat fields just a block or two from your condo. The grocery store and pharmacy are a stone’s throw away. Just about everyone on the island gets around by bike, with smaller children pulled along in three-wheeled trailers. After long days playing tennis at the Sunbow Bay tennis courts, or swimming in the community heated pool, paddling kayaks in the gulf and building sandcastles, you can pedal to back to one of the friendliest most convenient spots on the island. Welcome to Sunbow Bay’s ShoreThing.Take the stairs or the elevator, stop winding your watch, turn off your phone and trade your shoes for flip flops. The master bedroom has a King bed, large master shower, soaking tub, private toilet area, double sinks, large flat screen tv and a view of the bay with all the beautiful wildlife and a shared screen patio.The other three bedrooms have king beds and flat screen tv’s and are newly decorated with a modern rustic design.There is one shared bath with the other 2 bedrooms on the top floor and the other bath is located on the main level next to the bedroom and easily accessible from the living/ kitchen area. The gourmet kitchen is sure the please with top of the line Thermador and Jen Air appliances and nice open plan to the living and dining area. All with a view of the bay. The dining table is custom made and seats 10. The kitchen bar has seating for 4. The large 9′ sofa and 5′ love seat gives plenty of room for viewing the large flat screen with sound bar, blue ray, and cable tv. There are two heated pools one with a gas grill, tennis courts, fishing dock, kayak launch and nature walking path. The beach is a mer 6 min walk and has a cafe open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with live music several nights a week. You don’t need a car to go to the grocery store, you take a cart from the parking area and walk it back and up the elevator right to the kitchen. You are really in the heart of the island with plenty of pubs, restaurants and beautiful sunsets! Enjoy!
