The entire home has been updated to perfection and is furnished with a casually sophisticated decor.The great room has a gas fireplace, dark hardwood floors, sand-colored walls, white draperies and a white ceiling crisscrossed with dark brown beams. Arched doors and decorative accents throughout add to the magic of this unique cottage.The living room has two comfortable white sofas, an upholstered arm chair and an ottoman that serves as a coffee table or extra seating, all atop a floral area rug. There’s a 42″ HDTV with Blu-Ray Disc Player, a small video collection and a small library.The nearby dining area has a pine-topped farm-style table and a bench plus 6 chairs.The renovated kitchen is equipped with everything a chef could want to create gourmet meals. Among the features: white granite counter tops, gray cabinetry, a central island, white tile floors in a honeycomb pattern and an antiqued hutch. Stainless steel appliances include a gas range in the central island, an oven, side-by-side refrigerator and a dishwasher. A nook holds a stacking washer-dryer behind a wooden door. French doors from the kitchen open to a side yard, with lawn enclosed by a 6′ redwood fence, which has a gas grill and a table for 6.Bedrooms and BathroomsThe 2nd story has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath.Bedroom #1 is handsomely appointed and has glimpses of the water between trees. The bedroom is furnished with a queen bed with quality linens, bedside tables with wrought iron bases shaped like tree branches, an antique oak dresser, 2 small trunks, and a carved-wood-framed chair upholstered in a white and blue floral pattern.Bedroom 2 has two twins which convert to a split king with memory foam topper, with quality linens, a patterned area rug and 2 white dressers.Bedroom #3 has a full/double bed with quality linens, white floral quilted coverlet, white wooden bedside tables and a small desk. A corner window reveals whitewater crashing on Lover’s Point in the distance.The upstairs bathroom has a small shower with tan and brown checkerboard-patterned tiles, a white tiled floor and a free-standing ceramic sink with an oval mirror.Downstairs, relax with a book on a white wrought-iron trundle bed in Bedroom #4. The trundle, which has a white coverlet and embroidered pillows, can sleep 1-2. This room also includes a wing-back chair, two small wrought iron tables, a wrought-iron lamp and a floral area rug.A small pass-through bathroom between the kitchen and Bedroom #4 has a small shower with white honeycomb tile, a free-standing ceramic sink and a commode.One small car can be parked in the garage or in the driveway; on-street parking is available. Everything is provided for a day at the beach, located only 5 minutes away. The aquarium is about 20 minutes away on foot.Well-behaved dogs under 25lbs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month.
