This centrally located home has 4 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, a great room with a wood-burning stove (wood not provided), a fully equipped kitchen, dining for 8 with a kitchen/bar seating option, and a private deck with Adirondack chairs. Each bedroom has its own private bath, and the primary bedroom includes a sauna to enjoy after a long day of hiking or skiing.The space:The unit sleeps 8 in beds: one king, one queen, one bunk room with twin over twin, and a lower-level bedroom with a queen bed and private bath.Camp “Bearadise” is located at the Whiteface Club Resort with its gorgeous manicured grounds and gardens, marina for boat rentals, golf, tennis, and three restaurants. In winter, you will enjoy groomed cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding trails. All amenities are on a fee basis.During the summer, you can walk to your choice of four restaurants, literally just minutes away. Then, stroll across the 18th fairway to the historic pro shop and start a round of golf on our championship golf course. Or, if tennis is your game, the tennis center features six clay courts that are fully staffed.Take a hike to a secluded beach for a swim! The Peninsula trail is a close hike from Camp “Bearadise” that will take you around Lake Placid lake to secluded swimming areas maintained by New York State and part of the Jackrabbit trail system. Perfect for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and snowshoeing in the winter.Here, you can escape the craziness of downtown Lake Placid without feeling isolated.You’re still only 5 minutes (by car) to the center of the Village.Enjoy the amenities of resort living, including golf, tennis, marina lake access, two resort restaurants, and a 5-minute walk to the well-known Lake Placid Lodge (open year-round) with fine dining & Maggie’s Pub on the lake for a more relaxed atmosphere.Also included are high-speed WiFi, one smart TV, a wood-burning fireplace (wood not provided) and a propane grill on the deck. We do provide a free fire stick for you to log into your own streaming accounts.Only a 20-minute drive to the slopes. For those without cars, Lake Placid offers free shuttle services that are available during the ski season to take you to the mountain.If traveling in the snow, we highly recommend having a 4-wheel drive vehicle. The road will be plowed as well as the parking areas, but winters in the Adirondacks are beautiful but can sometimes be unpredictable!Bringing a boat? No problem, the marina at the Whiteface Club has available weekly rentals of docks and kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and sailboats. However, you will need to reserve your spot before your arrival as the slips fill up quickly!All the beds have linens, blankets, comforters, and towels in the bathrooms at the property for your use.The property is furnished with a start-up supply of paper and soap products. There are strict limits on noise levels between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Lake Placid ordinances will be enforced by any law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over the short-term rental property. A violation of this ordinance will result in termination of the rental agreement.– To comply with the Lake Placid Noise Ordinance and Good Neighbor Policy, there is a noise monitoring device installed in the interior of the property.– For property security, there are (3) outdoor security cameras that are located at the front entry, patio which covers portions of the front walk area and deck entrance to the unit, and the doorbell. Ringing the doorbell on the front door will send a chime and ring alert to the property manager. The outdoor security cameras are operated 24×7.– Please make sure outdoor fireplaces are left neat and tidy, the same way as when you got to the property. Do not leave trash in or around the fire pits or the yard, it can attract animals. If these areas are left a mess, there could be a forfeiture of a portion of your security deposit.– Please treat the space with respect as if it was your own home. You, as the booking guest, are responsible for any damage or missing items caused by you or any guests accessing the property during your stay.– Unauthorized parties or group gatherings of any kind are not permitted on the property.– PARKING: Your reservation includes 2 parking spaces. If you have an additional vehicle, there is general use parking at the front entrance right side parking lot, but additional parking spaces cannot be guaranteed.– ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING– The number maximum number of overnight guests for the property is 10 and this is governed by the Lake Placid / Town of North Elba max occupancy laws.
