The pool/spa’s water temperature is maintained by a heat pump heater that will automatically shut off when the temperature drops below 50 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent damage. The colder the outdoor temperature is, the less efficient the pool/spa will heat. The pool may be cool in the mornings as the heater can not run 24/7 so it is off overnight. If guests don’t pay for pool/spa heat, the spa will not be heated as they are both heated by the same unit.
