And that’s exactly how it should be, when you’re on vacation.You don’t need a car to enjoy downtown Asheville (our walk score: 93!), but if you bring one, here are your options: One free off street designated parking space is reserved for this apartment, located a half a block away in a private parking lot.Parking Decks: Both the City of Asheville and Buncombe County operate safe, reliable and inexpensive parking decks. The first hour is free and the full-day rate is just $20, so feel free to leave an extra vehicle overnight in the public parking decks. There are several parking decks within walking distance of 80 LEX on Rankin Ave; we’ll send all the details with your booking confirmation.On-Street Parking: There are more than 700 on-street metered parking spaces in downtown Asheville. All meters are for short-term parking (two hours or less, as marked), at a cost of $1.50 per hour .
