Cook in the gourmet kitchen with Wolf appliances.Expansive primitive hiking trails lead down to the crystal clear Frio River where swimming, fishing, hiking and kayaking are found. The wildlife diversity is incredible with blackbuck antelope, axis deer, whitetail, wild turkey, songbirds, hummingbirds and more. Take a stroll down to the river each evening and watch the fireflies come out. We keep our bird feeders full year-round. The hummingbirds are the best!*Nightly rate is based on 4 people. Each additional guest is $30 per night. The house sleeps a max of 16 people.***$500 refundable deposit is due at check in.Enjoy luxury amenities such as soaker bathtubs and separate showers, Wolf cooktop and double ovens. Three huge back patios looking out over the hills, with campfire ring, lounge chairs, BBQ smoker, steak pit and horseshoes. Frio River Frontage on the South side of the ranch is a 25-minute walk on the hiking trail or a 3-minute drive. Take a 10-minute bike ride down to the river in the evenings to watch the fish jump. It is a shared access with other guests that are renting cabins on that end of the ranch. We do not allow any day guests as the safety and privacy of our guests is important to us. The seasonal Buffalo Creek runs right next to the house and is a great place to hike and look for fossils when it is dry or splash around in when there’s been some rain.Although the ranch offers complete privacy, the drive to the nearest town of Leakey is only 8 minutes. Here you can find restaurants, shopping, tackle store, a grocery store, a meat market and more. 7 Miles from Leakey, 2 Miles from Garner State park, 25 miles from Lost Maples State park.CLEANING FEE – A cleaning fee is assessed to this booking. However, if the departure checklist is not followed, an additional cleaning fee may be withheld from the refundable deposit.WHAT TO BRING:Sheets, blankets, pillows, bath towels, river towels, kitchen towels.Linens are available (minus river towels) for an additional fee in the off-season/regular season months – $40 per king, queen or double and $30 per twin. If pet hair is found on furniture or bedding your deposit will automatically be forfeited. Pets must be kept on a leash while outdoors. Owners must pick up animal waste from grounds or your deposit will be forfeited. Take along a baggie with you to pick up waste and then dispose of it properly in your outdoor trash can. Dogs cannot be left unattended on a leash outside. If you do not abide by our pet policy you will be asked to leave, and a refund of your rental fee and the pet deposit will not be issued.Pets are NEVER allowed to chase wildlife.Please, no ATV’s, golf carts, side by sides, etc are not allowedPLEASE NOTE: When booking during Spring Break, summer months and holidays, please do not leave a one night opening between your reservation and the reservation before or after you.
