A Family-Friendly, Pet-Friendly home on MDI – $1800/wkTallboys is a two story family home that offers three bedrooms. Bedroom one has a full sized bed and a twin bed. Bedroom 2 has a king sized bed. Bedroom 3 – the master – offers a queen sized bed. All bedrooms and a full bath are on the second floor. The main floor has a kitchen, dining area, laundry room, mudroom, den, living room, and full bath. It offers two large flat screen televisions (55″ and 42′). The basement is partially finished as a ‘man cave’, which has a half bath, ping pong table, and gaming setup. Tallboys has a two car garage and a deck out back that is attached to a storage building. This includes a fire pit and lots of wood! This is wonderful because of the privacy offered and the view of the wooded ledge. It is not rare to see wildlife from this location (not bears!). There is a paved yard with a basketball hoop for kids (or kids at heart!). This home is set up with the following amenities: ironing board, laundry, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, toaster oven, blender, wireless internet, phone, and air conditioning in the master bedroom and in our daughter’s bedroom. We have a heat pump downstairs that cools the living room and dining areas. The den has a separate air conditioner as well. There is an extra refrigerator in the mudroom. Our home is in the village of Northeast Harbor, close to the grocery store, shops, the school, Neighborhood House, church, the marina, and the Island Explorer (free public transportation). Our property borders the golf course and is a short distance from the Tennis Club (private club).
