Description
Located on four private acres of open land and surrounded by open fields and trees the property also features two horse barns,a corral,and a chicken coop with laying hens. The house is large with four bedrooms. Common areas are also large and roomy so no one will feel closed in. Outside there are many sunny and shaded areas to relax. Cook on the outdoor Weber gas grill and enjoy the evening with a roaring fire in the fire pit. Take the canoe and kayak to any of the nearby ponds and rivers and enjoy a day on the water. Beautiful back road scenery,farms with local produce, antique shops, theaters and plays,restaurants with fine dining and much more can be found in the neighboring towns of Woodstock,Brooklyn,Pomfret ,Danielson, and Putnam. If you’re feeling more adventurous city fun can be found in Providence RI and Worcester Ma which are both about a 40 minute drive away. The city of Newport and all of RI’s best ocean beaches are also within an hours drive. Enjoy the best of both worlds, the peace and quiet of the farm and the fun offered by the local towns and city attractions.See more
