Wonderful sunsetsThe property is located on West Shore Road in Grand Isle on the ‘Broad Lake’ looking across Lake Champlain to the Adirondacks. The cottage sits 100 yards off the road shaded by old cedar trees. It is a beautiful piece of lakefront with a private beach. Great for swimming, fishing, or lounging in the sun down by the water. Bring a kayak or a boat (free boat launch ramp 400 feet down the road). Great area for biking.The cottage sleeps four in two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed, one with a double bed. There is also a double futon in the living room. Nice, comfortable living room and kitchen, bath with stall shower, and a lovely lakeside screened-in porch. There is a gas grill as well as a charcoal grill, Adirondack chairs, town water (not a well or the lake). Bath towels and bed linens supplied. Please bring linens for futon if planning on using. Gas fireplace. Free wireless internet. New in 2021 is our wonderful outside shower.There is also an outside table with umbrella and four chairs.Grand Isle is accessible by causeway/bridges or ferry:5 minutes to Plattsburgh NY/VT ferry5 minutes to an excellent small grocery store35 minutes to Burlington and the airport (via causeway)1 hour 20 minutes to Montreal1 hour to mountains
