It’s perfectly nestled into the canyon below Bob Hope’s iconic entertainment home with only one next door neighbor and a plethora of entertainment and relaxation areas creatively scattered throughout the property. One will find endless opportunities to enjoy and maximize the resort-feel stay if it is enjoying a afternoon cocktail on the viewing deck, taking a swim in the heated sculptural pool or dining outside with a large group of friends on the night time lit dining plateau. The gardener does maintenance work Wednesday between 9am and 11am and it might come with a bit of noise.There is a required $500 deposit for your stay. Any damage to the property or furnishings will be deducted from your deposit. The entire house has been catalogued and inventoried, as there are many cherished valuables and priceless artifacts from our travels abroad, so any damaged or missing item with value in excess of your deposit will result in an VRBO insurance claim. Any parties or noise complaints from the neighbors (within reason) may result in immediate eviction and/or partial or full loss of deposit. The city of Palm Springs does not allow outside music louder than what your phone can play. This also goes for loud voices outside (alcohol induced or not) any time day or night.People on this street likes the sound of coyotes killing bunnies, the stars and their pool pump so go figure ?That said, if you are here to relax, enjoy quality time in the pool and indulge in long dinners with plenty of wine and great conversation, then this is your oasis.There is a maximum of 8 people and 4 cars allowed on the property at any time.There is the strict penalty system in Palm Springs that revokes our vacation home permit for 2 years if the police show up 3 times in a year. This has left us with no other option than to evict renters if the police show up at your door (within reason). If this unfortunate event were to happen it would mean you will be presented with a $500 citation ticket (from the city), loss of your security deposit and no refund of the remaining days you have the house rented (Yikes!).So pllleeeaaaasse let’s not have that happen.
