A STONE COTTAGE RETREAT – SO SPECIAL!A beautiful cottage nestled in the hills of Franklin, NC and the Nantahala National Forest, the road to our stone cottage is an easy drive and offers a quiet retreat where you can sit outside and enjoy a variety of birds including hummingbirds and red cardinals. We are are also conveniently located near all essential stores, restaurants, the Smoky Mountain Performing Arts Center, the Factory (family fun), a movie theatre, and is just 3 miles from downtown Franklin where you can stroll down Main Street and visit the wonderful shops. Visit the Franklin Chamber of Commerce link below for a calendar of local events and other useful information.Our rustic cottage is unique with artistic stonework throughout, use of reclaimed barnwood, stone shower, clawfoot tub, and a modern kitchen. You will love this sweet cottage!We have a bedroom on each floor, each with a queen bed. There is also an upstairs loft with a desk. An air mattress is provided for the loft area. Sleeps a total of 5-6. The downstairs bathroom has a one-of-kind vanity and vintage clawfoot tub and the upstairs bathroom has a one-of-a-kind stone shower, vanity & mirror. All towels and linens provided, including a hair dryer and magnifying mirror.There are LED TVs with satellite TV in the living room and each bedroom. WiFi is also provided.The wonderful kitchen has all necessary appliances – stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher. A toaster oven, coffee maker, all dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils are also provided.You will enjoy this wonderful small town. Please come and visit soon.
