**Renters must be minimum 25 yrs old to rent this property**Cozy and rustic 1800 square foot condo – Harbor Lane Condo Complex on the shore of Lake Placid Lake! Our condo is nestled between Lake Placid Lake and Mirror Lake and is walking distance to the north end of Main Street. The Lake Placid movie theater, the Interlaken Inn along with various other restaurants, shops, spas & bars all within a 10min walk. Take a swim in Lake Placid Lake or launch a kayak to take in the beauty of the surrounding area!Location, location, location – This cozy condo is in the heart of Lake Placid Village. If you’re in town to ski Whiteface Mt., visit the Olympic sites, hike the famous Adirondack Mts., compete in the Ironman, or to just enjoy the peace and quiet of mountain life – Welcome to our home away from home!Most activities, if not every activity, is a short walk or a short drive away. For visitors not knowing exactly what to do/where to go, please feel free to reach out to us, my husband grew up in Lake Placid and is more than willing to share his favorite restaurants, swimming holes, hikes or ice cream joints.** Please note: The Harbor Lane Condo Complex comprises of 3 buildings. Our condo is in building III, with building II set in front of our condo (as seen in the pictures). As such, the condo has seasonal/limited views of Lake Placid Lake, Mirror Lake and limited views of the surrounding mountain range. Whiteface Mountain can be seen from the covered deck and the dining-room. A shared outdoor green space located in front of building II – guests have access to unobstructed views of Lake Placid Lake, Lake Placid Marina & the surrounding mountain range (also seen in the pictures). A set of stairs allows guests access to the lake.Thank you for looking & be wellThe DuffysBy booking this property you are acknowledging and agreeing to the following:*No smoking – No pets allowed – No events, parties or large gatherings.*As the property owners, we care deeply about our home & strive to maintain it in excellent shape. If you notice any problems or maintenance issues, please notify us immediately.*Please remember this property is our family home and as such we don’t host parties. We respectfully ask all groups looking to “party” to look for another property. Those who choose to stay at our condo, we ask that the property is returned to us in the same condition in which you received it, please & thank you.*All groups are expected to treat the condo with respect & follow the condo rules(see below). Groups are expected to leave the condo in a clean, neat & orderly condition.Harbor 3 Condominium Rules1. No Smoking- We are a non-smoking building inside as well as outside where others would be subjected to second hand smoke.2. Nothing is allowed to hang over the balcony railings3. No excessive noise or loud music- Village noise regulations are in effect from before 8 a.m. and after 9:30 p.m.4. No device with an open flame allowed on balconies/deck per New York State regulations5. Parking limited to no more than 2 cars per unit6. No boats or trailers are allowed in the parking lot7. NO pets – No exceptions8. No spitting, cigarette butts, objects, beverage cans/bottles, etc., thrown on property grounds9. No baby carriages, bicycles, toys, etc., blocking exit/entry ways*Individuals must be 25 yrs old or accompanied by family to rent this property. We may ask individuals to provide copies of photo ID at time of booking or at time of check-in to verify age. We reserve the right to cancel reservations and/or refuse entry to property for individuals or groups unable to provide acceptable forms of photo ID. If this occurs, the individuals and groups will forfeit any/all monies paid towards booking the property.*If your booking was made under false pretense, including, but not limited to, a falsified name, age, or size of party, you will be subject to immediate eviction & forfeiture of all amounts paid.*The maximum number of people that may occupy the vacation rental is indicated in the listing – eight (8) total. This rule applies to day visitors & children as well. Occupancy over the indicated amount may result in eviction and forfeiture of amounts paid.*During COVID-19 our cleaning crew works hard to ensure the property is perfect for each group. They’re taking extra precautions to disinfect all surfaces with bleach & alcohol. We wish to ensure the safety of our cleaning crew as well as all our guests, as such, we request groups check out promptly at 10am & check-in at 4pm. This will allow zero interaction between guests & our cleaning crew.*During Covid-19 we ask all guests to follow CDC & the New York State Department of Health guidance while visiting Lake Placid.*Linens and bath towels are provided by us. Please bring your own beach towels for use, our linens & bath towels cannot be removed the from the condo. Guests will be responsible for replacement of linens & bath towels if lost or ruined.*If requested, you shall allow the Duffy’s or their designated representative, access to the Vacation Rental during your stay. The Duffy’s shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner.*You agree to indemnify and hold harmless your host, the Duffy’s, for any liabilities, damage, cost or expense whatsoever arising from or related to any claim in connection with your use and/or occupancy of the vacation rental, including, but not limited to, any claim or liability for personal injury, damage, loss of personal belongings or theft of property which is made, incurred or sustained by you and/or anyone you invite to use the vacation rental as your guest.*If we, as the Host, the Duffy’s, retain the services of an attorney or attorneys to enforce any conditions of this Rental Policy, you shall be liable to your Host for reasonable attorney’s fees and cost incurred by the Host.*If any section, clause, paragraph or term of the Rental Agreement is held or determined to be void, invalid or unenforceable, for any reason, all other terms, clauses or paragraphs herein shall be severed and remain in force and effect. This Agreement is taken in full compliance with federal, state and local Fair Housing Laws, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, country of origin, handicap or familial status.
