It reminds your of the old fashioned beach towns that dotted the Atlantic Coast before hotels and high rise communities replaced them. The white sand beaches have picnic areas and life guards (summer). Fort Clinch is one of the several beautiful state parks on the island. Civil War re-enactments are held there the first weekend of the month. There is something here for everyone.You can hear the ocean from the grounds of Amelia Landing Resort. You’re just a block and a half away. Nestled in a grove of 100 year old oak trees is your first floor two bedroom/2 bath private villa. You’ll have everything you need. Just bring your clothes and purchase your groceries from one of the four convenient grocery stores on the island.Your villa is tastefully furnished and equipped with high speed Internet, digital flat screen TV’s and DVD and phones with unlimited long distance. Though there are lots of great restaurants on the island, you can spend an evening in and cook; your kitchen is fully equipped for any meal prep. Delivery from several restaurants is an option. For your home entertainment, there are cards, board games, puzzles and videos. Before retiring for the evening, take a long soothing bath in one of the two large soaking tubs. Relax on your screened porch and enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon drinks. Within the grounds you can sun by the largest outdoor pool on the island, play tennis (racquets are supplied) or picnic. Grills are located in each picnic area. Walk to the beach or drive and don’t worry about beach items, we supply chairs, towels, umbrella, beach bag, cooler and boogie boards. Please note that our condo association has a strict four guest limit including young children and infants.
