This single-bedroom cottage is named for the Barrel Cooperage “Damy” (duh-mee). This is a barrel that we have used for Pinot Noir. We are one of the few Virginia vineyards to grow this finicky grape, and in this cottage you too will feel unique and special! This cottage is closest to the vineyards, so your vineyard views are unparalleled.Featuring a king-size bed, spacious tiled bath, open plan living room, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Freshly decorated with local art and contemporary furnishings, and all countertops of locally quarried soapstone. Solar shades in the rooms with views and room-darkening shades in bedroom and bath. Electric fireplace in the corner can warm you on a chilly night, or just create that intimate ambience when you’re ready to snuggle in for the evening. 650 private square feet with a deck overlooking the wildflower meadow and into the woods.
