Alpine A-Frame – midcentury cabin by Lake RapondaWelcome to the Alpine A-Frame! Our beautiful mid-century A-frame cabin right down the road from Lake Raponda in Wilmington, Vermont. Pets welcome with a $100 pet fee.Have a four-legged friend? They are totally welcome with an additional $100 pet fee. Just let us know if you’ll be bringing your pet along when you make your reservation.The Alpine A-Frame is a non-smoking residence (both inside and out). Any violation of this rule will result in a $500 fine.Per our listing, we have a 4 person maximum in this house. Unauthorized overnight guests will be charged $500 per person per night.We do not allow parties, events or loud noise. Any violation of these rules will incur a $500 fine.Guests may use the indoor wood stove if they certify that they will do so safely and will be responsible for any damage due to its use or misuse.WAIVER & RELEASE of LIABILITY: The owners urge all guests to use the Alpine A-Frame’s features, facilities and its grounds in the safest manner. Use of all features, including but not limited to the use of stairs, grounds, lofts and appliances are done at the guests sole risk. Guests understand that they are fully responsible for use of all features and owners shall not be liable to guest for any claims related to illnesses, demands, injuries, damages, or actions arising out of or in connection with the misuse of facilities, natural events/disasters or general accidents on facility grounds. Guests choosing to use the fire pit agree to do so safely and in accordance with house rules. Guests understand owners are not to be held responsible for damaged or lost personal property. Guest hereby holds owners harmless from any/all claims brought against them. Guest understands that by booking a reservation they are effectively agreeing to the terms of this Waiver and Release of Liability.The Alpine A-Frame is just down the road from Lake Raponda, a local treasure which boasts wonderful boating, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Additionally, the cabin is located central to some amazing summer and winter activities, including:* Mount Snow (15 minutes)* The downtown area of Wilmington (5 minutes) – a charming main street with amazing local restaurants like Cask and Kiln, Jezebel’s, Dot’s Diner, and Folly* Snow Republic Brewery (5 minutes), Beer Naked Brewery and Metcalfe’s Distillery (9 min)* Tons of great hiking – Hogback Mountain, Lake Raponda Trails, Molly Stark State Park, Mount Olga Fire TowerPlease note, while The Alpine A-Frame is in a recreational neighborhood, there are several other cabins on the block, including one adjacent to our property. The A-Frame does have its own private backyard and privacy trees planted between the properties to further enhance the space. That being said, if you are looking for a completely secluded cabin in the middle of the woods, one of our other properties may be a better fit for your getaway.Guests have use of the full house and amenities (including fireplace).The Alpine A-Frame is equipped with everything you’ll need for an awesome Vermont getaway! The house offers a full kitchen with four-burner gas stove and oven, microwave, toaster, french press coffee maker, wood-burning midcentury fireplace, AC, WiFi, shower, Casper queen mattress with organic linens, P.F. Candle and Public Goods soaps and fragrances, stylish and new midcentury decor throughout, outdoor area with deck, firepit (with provided firewood), Weber grill, outdoor dining area, and Adirondack chairs…just to name a few features.
