Only 1.5 blocks away are the closest shops and restaurants. The other end of town is only a 1/2 mile so everything is very close and easily accessible. We have an assortment of fine and casual dining establishments, ice cream shops, boutiques, art galleries, and even a Broadway-quality theater. If you’re looking for a day in the sand, Lake Michigan is accessible by Douglas Beach, Oval Beach, or Saugatuck Dunes State Park within a 5-10 minute drive, or take a ride on our local Interurban for only $1.This is a great place to call home for your getaway to the beautiful Saugatuck/Douglas area!Please Note:This is an upstairs apartment and a flight of stairs is required for access.The only access to the bathroom is through the bedroom.There is no central AC. There is a window AC unit in the living room during summer months and a box fan in the bedroom. If you keep the blinds closed and the bedroom door open, the whole apartment will be cool.The building heat is kept at 68 degrees in the winter months. If you need additional heat, or heat during the summer, there is a baseboard electric heater in the bedroom.This apartment is small. The refrigerator and range are apartment-sized.
