Updated features throughout the property include: wood/tile flooring, large open floor plan with multi-panel sliding glass doors to bring you the best view of of the ocean perfect for alfresco dining. Designer bathroom fixtures including Smart Koehler Veil toilets throughout and rain showers, custom beach blond wood furniture throughout, brand new kitchen cabinetry and island with view of the ocean and high-end appliances from Wolf and Subzero including a wine fridge. The master suite was carefully built with the vacationer in mind which is why gave this suite has an open floor plan with a bathtub and shower with views of the Pacific Ocean – it doesn’t get any better than this. All bedrooms are quipped with Lutron Shades, Smart TV’s and Sonos Sound Bar. Just a few feet away from the ocean.IMPORTANT: We are a professional property management company and use a professional PMS system. Our PMS integration limits our ability to charge a credit card processing fee, however, a credit card processing fee is a hard cost to us. We have to charge a 3.55% CC processing fee based on the total charges displayed on the platform. International Credit Cards have an additional 1 to 1.5% on top of the 3.55% for exchange rates totalling almost 4.7% in fees. Please note, that if you do not want to incur the CC processing fee you can send a bank wire. If you send a request to book your CC will only be charged the platform fee. We will not charge your card until we confirm with you. Someone from our team will reach out to you.Guest Access:Whole home and beach access.The Neighborhood:Beach front neighborhood located in Malibu. The beach located directly to the home is a State Beach and there is no lifeguard on duty. For groups with young children we suggest exploring Malibu’s beaches like Carbon Beach, Zuma and Point Dume.Getting Around:Since this villa is managed by us you will automatically receive preferred rental rates through Drive Awhile. You can also leave the car at departure and work with our concierge to arrange your airport transfer. Drive Awhile has something for everyone.Other Things to Note:Please send our team a message prior to booking this home. Please do not request a reservation without speaking with the Home Manager. Please note that you may be asked to sign supplemental terms prior to entry of the property depending on the booking platform you are booking on. Signing these terms is required before entry is given. Additionally, you may be asked to pay for your credit card processing fee after booking.In the case of a cancellation, we will uphold the cancellation policy that was stated at the time of booking. Please note that the “Reservation fee” is our credit card processing fee. This fee is 100% non refundable as it is a hard cost.In an effort to keep our properties in good condition and to maintain a peaceful presence within the neighborhood, we have a few rules in place. It is important to understand these, so please be sure to read the descriptions of each rule as well.1) No parties. No visitors. All guest names must be submitted prior to booking. We may request a government-issued photo ID from the person who booked, plus everyone on the guest list.2) No petsWe, out of principle, do not allow any pets.3) No smoking, vaping, or the likeLos Angeles Municipal Code Section 41.50 B 18 bHigh Brush Fire Zone | Prevent Wildfires | It’s the LAWYou are in a high brush fire zone. Smoking outdoors or inside is strongly prohibited. We also prohibit the use of vapes, e-cigarettes, and the like. We have state of the art smoke detectors that are hypersensitive to all vapors and gases. If the alarms in these detectors are set off, then it will notify the fire department and we will be charged $500. And if we find out that the alarm was caused by some infraction of our rules, then the person who triggered the alarm will be charged $500. We are in a high brush fire zone. In effort to prevent wildfires the state can turn utilities on and off intermittently. Stay Awhile will not offer any refunds in this case.4) Do not send mail to property before or after your reservation dates.If you need mail delivered before or after your stay, then we can help. You may send it to our office. Then we can take your mail to the property for you on the day of your arrival. Please note that we are not responsible for any lost or un-retrieved mail or packages.6) Keep noise to a minimum between 10:00pm and 8:00amOnce again, this is to help us maintain the peaceful atmosphere for all of the guests at the property and a peaceful presence within the neighborhood.Property is located on Pacific Coast Highway. Guests are subject to hearing potential road noise and/or waves crashing.Pre Stocking:We have a list of pre-stocking options that guests are able to choose from. Pre-stock requests typically require at least one week advance notice. There will be a $150 service charge or 20% service charge (whichever one is greater) for all pre-stocking requests.Day of Arrival:During check-in, only the person who has made the booking can be checked in and only the person who has made the booking will be asked to confirm their identity by showing the host their physical ID. Again, this is to verify that the person who has arrived is, in fact, the person on the booking. So, please work with us as we follow our safety procedures and work to maintain a secure environment.Early/Late Check-In and Late Check-out Fees:We have a check-in window from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Our early check-in and late check-in fees are $100 for every hour before 4:00pm and after 6:00pm, respectively. Additionally, if you want to check-in before 12:00pm, then you will need to pay a fee equal to one full day. So, please keep this in mind as the day of your arrival approaches.Our check-out time is 10:00am. Our late check-out fee is $100 for every hour after 10:00am. Additionally, if you want to check-out after 12:00pm, then you will need to pay a fee equal to one full day. So, please keep this in mind as the day of your departure approaches. If you would like to have a late check-out, then please let us know in advance and we will see if we can accommodate it.If you would like to have an early/late check-in or a late check-out, then you will need to let us know one day in advance in writing. Doing this DOES NOT GUARANTEE our approval. Our approvals depend completely on factors that are out of our control. For example, whether the previous guest broke something at the property, whether the property needs its scheduled maintenance, whether our maids or technicians have ample time to do their job, whether our hosts/hostesses will have ample time to perform their inspections, whether the check-in is done outside of working hours, or whether there are any unprecedented issues. These are just a few examples of issues that determine whether or not we are able to approve an early/late check-in or a late check-out. So, let us know as soon as possible if this is something you are interested in and we can see if it is something we can accommodate.Cleanliness:During COVID-19 we increased our cleaning to include wiping down of all surfaces with very hot water in addition to professional grade disinfectant cleaners. We wash all towels and linens regardless of their appearance: we will wash them whether or not they appear to be used – believe it or not many hotels/rentals do not do that. We are making sure all door handles and high touchpoint areas are all being given extra attention. Our staff wears masks, gloves, and shoe coverings when they are inside of the home. We have always had very high cleaning standards and are proud to say that these standards go above and beyond what the CDC recommends.When you are departing the property, please make sure that you do not leave anything behind. Our team is not responsible for Lost or Stolen Items. If our team finds a lost item, we will ship it back to the guest. The guest will be responsible for paying the shipping cost plus a $50 service fee.We are a professional vacation rental hospitality management company. We have a robust in-house team comprised of interior designers who help make sure all of our villas are meticulously furnished, guest services concierge to assist with any pre-trip planning needs, dedicated hosts with local knowledge, maintenance personnel, and in-house stylists who ensure your villa meets our hospitality cleaning standards. Based in these standards we are ranked #1 in California and #4 in the country. Travel can stressful especially since most bookings happen without you ever seeing the home in person until you arrive. We take the stress out of the unknown.
