Architect’s Personal Residence, Private Pool, 1 Blk. to DuvalCompleted in 1992, this two bedroom two bath home was designed by a local architect for the relaxed Key West tropical lifestyle. Located on a quiet old town street only one block from Upper Duval Street and Truman Avenue, it offers off-street parking, easy walking/biking to Key West’s finest dining, shopping, attractions, and the beach at Fort Taylor State Park.The one and a half story living space has nine french doors opening onto a private courtyard with a solar-heated pool and spa. High ceilings with multiple skylights, pickled pine wooden walls, casual furniture and the colorful hues of the Caribbean create a space that is both soothing and stimulating. Both bedrooms have tile floors and double french doors opening onto the courtyard and reflect the island’s maritime influence with built-in furniture and storage areas. Besides the spectacular indoor shower, there is a small private deck with an outdoor shower for the truly native experience. The site plan is similar to a courtyard home. The bedrooms are in a separate building from the living space. The pool and spa are totally private and you share no space with anyone.Maximum accommodation is six persons. There is a king size bed in the Master bedroom, a queen size bed in the second bedroom and queen sofa bed in the living area. The living room and bedrooms have smart tvs.Payments, less credit card costs, are fully refundable with 30 days notice prior to day of scheduled check-in. Payments within 30 days are non-refundable, however, if you cancel your reservation within the 30-day period, you will receive a credit that can be applied to another stay within one year of the original reservation.Keywords: House
