Michigan city has lots of excellent restaurants including the best sushi restaurant eeeeever, just downstairs. Bring your bikes and ride the local bike trails, take the South Shore train to Chicago for the day or if you’re feeling lucky, you could visit the Blue Chip Casino. If you need a little retail therapy you can check out the shopping at the Lighthouse Outlet Mall.Some great side junkets include Three Oaks which is about 25 minutes away. Sample a couple of craft cocktails and get a bite to eat at the Journeyman Distillery. A wonderful distillery occupying the historic Featherbone building, which manufactured corsets and buggy whips, back in the day. Be sure to visit Trilogy, and some of the other unique shops in the historic downtown district.Bridgeman is also about 25 minutes away and have a couple of great breweries. Sample a flight and pick up a growler of your favorite!The Red Arrow Highway is a great driving excursion with lots of restaurants and antiques shops along the way.Need a nice space for a Notre Dame home game?
