This bright cottage sits between Ashintully Gardens (landscaped public gardens with winding brook, fountain, paths and hiking trails to the stunning ruins of Ashintully) and the McLennan Reservation on Round Mountain, 1000 acres of wooded hiking trails and the largest beaver dam in Berkshire County. The land around the cottage is under conservation restriction and there are plenty of places to hike and explore. You can hear the bells of a nearby monastery. Also very close to the Appalachian trail, several lakes and ponds, and the Tyringham Cobble, and a driveable distance from Bartholomew’s Cobble, Monument Mountain, the Ice Glen, Bash Bish Falls, Beartown State Forest and Mt Greylock. Close to Lee with restaurants and outlet mall, and Lenox, Stockbridge, and Great Barrington. 20 min drive to Tanglewood Music Festival, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Jacobs Pillow, Shakespeare and Company, Chesterwood, The Mount, Naumkeg, the Norman Rockwell Museum, and more.
