Description

We welcome you to our mountain house! Our extended family has had wonderful times here and we hope yours will, too. We are proud of the condition of our home and hope you will enjoy the moose theme. In fact we have seen real moose on more than half of our visits! It’s the perfect place to enjoy nature without roughing it.Moose Hus is fully furnished so you’ll feel right at home. The large living room and dining area with cast-iron gas stove and cathedral ceiling is the place where everyone gathers for TV (streaming only-no cable), DVD, games, and conversation. The modern kitchen (renovated in 2019) is conveniently nearby.In winter, enjoy snowmobiling (ride from the house to trails), cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, skating, and sledding. In summer, participate in hiking, boating, fishing, horseback riding, golfing and picnicking. You might even find it interesting to walk through the historic Grand Lake cemetery.If you are planning to make a reservation, please include information about your group in the comments (this will save time in your booking process): how many single adults vs couples, how many children and their ages, and if you are coming to celebrate something special!Columbine Lake is a private, covenant-controlled community. Renters are not allowed to use the clubhouse, gazebo, horse pasture, OHVs or Columbine Lake. Parking is not allowed on any Columbine Lake road or Community Property.Enjoy your stay!
