This house is a treasure! It’s a second home and is rented infrequently (by choice) and kept in mint condition. It’s not a run down rental house!You feel like you are on the water …especially since the dock is 2 steps out the back door where we have seen manatees, roseate spoonbills, pelicans, herons and seagulls.It has an open / split floor plan. On the north side of the house there are 2 bedrooms (1 king and 1 double), 2 full baths and a laundry room. A large living / dining room leads to a good size sun room.The south side of the house has 3 bedrooms (2 kings and one twin) and 2 full baths. There are also 2 nice size dining tables for meals with family and friends (one table seats 6 adults easily, in the living / dining room and the other seats 8 in the sunroom). There is a great yard and a wonderful dock.The beach is just across the street. Private access makes it easy to get to the beach which is spectacular (white sand beautiful birds and very quiet). Walk north 1/2 mile in the sand to Caledesi State Park or take a picnic and just sit and stare out over the horizon.The house is peaceful and the dock is fabulous for drinks, sunbathing, bird watching, looking for fish and just relaxing – no excuses needed. The sunrise in the morning from the dock or the sunroom is the best way to start the day … and the sunset at the beach is equally memorable at night! It’s truly the best of both worlds. We hope you enjoy this house as much as we do.It would be perfect for 3 couples or a family. 3 generations share this home. The layout allows everyone to have their own space which is nice for an extended visit with friends or family.
