This is not an event space. Do not book for events, parties, birthday parties/graduation parties, large gatherings etc.*This charming beach house only a 3 minute walk from the beach provides an ideal stay for small families, couples or solo travellers looking for a “home away from home” or a romantic break to the beach!The house has been fully remodelled and styled for your relaxing coastal getaway.The kitchen includes a refrigerator, gas stove, oven, microwave, Vitamix blender, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, filtered water etc. It is stocked with pots, pans, kitchen utensils and other standard kitchen supplies.The living room has a sofa which can convert to a queen pull-out sleeper sofa and can sleep two. The living room has a 40″ Smart TV, books and a variety of games suitable for all ages for your enjoyment. There is heating and air conditioning (mini split system will heat/cool entire house, but only if bedroom door is open. If you will be using living room sleeper sofa and need door closed for nightly privacy, then keep in mind the heating/cooling with not make it in the bedroom).The bedroom has a queen-sized memory foam bed which has a built-in closet as well as an alarm clock that has 2 USB ports for charging.The bathroom has a walk-in shower and is located next to the bedroom from which it is accessible.For infant guests we provide a pack n play, where your baby can sleep or play, a stroller for outings, a high chair for mealtimes and several baby books. There are also children’s short novels and toys.A washer and dryer are located indoors behind the kitchen.For your stay we offer beach chairs, beach umbrella, 2 boogie boards, a small cooler as well as a wagon to transport it all to the beach. There’s also two 26″ beach cruiser bicycles and a longboard – stored in the garage which is located at the rear of the property and accessible from the backyard. Garage is used for storage only.There is a long gravel driveway for parking that fits 2 cars depending on the length of the vehicles. Driveway measurements: 39 feet long x 9 feet wide.The private front yard is fenced. The backyard has patio furniture and a small yard.Ocean Beach is conveniently located close to the San Diego airport and also under a flight path which means airplanes can be heard throughout the day. Departing planes typically fly between 6:30 am and 11:30 pm. Incoming planes are weather dependent. The beach house has double pane windows and all exterior walls are insulated to reduce noise decibels and we provide earplugs should you choose to use them.Guest accessThe whole house is yours to enjoy as your home away from home. There are no shared walls. Guests may conveniently self-check-in using the assigned entry code provided prior to arrival. There is onsite parking in the gravel driveway. Free street parking is also available.Other things to noteBe respectful and do not disturb the neighbors. Zero tolerance policy on parties, events, loud music, loud noise, smoking, underage drinking, drugs, ilicit activities or unregistered guests on the property. DO NOT BOOK IF you are planning on having a party, event or large gathering our neighbors WILL notify us and we have an outdoor ring doorbell camera – a complaint will be filed where VRBO will cancel your reservation and you will need to vacate the property immediately. Illegal activities will be reported to the police. Smoking in or on the property will result in a $500 fine.Netflix and Amazon Prime Video use will require own account login (other streaming apps are provided).
