You will be able to completely relax and count this as one of your best vacations or getaways ever!From the quaint enclosed front porch, you will begin to relax and enjoy your view of the famous Siesta Key canal on the outer rim of “Palm Island,” watch the Siesta Village Trolley and people pass by just relaxing.This is a true Gem in Siesta Key that has new electric and we have painstakingly cleaned, freshly painted, updated kitchen cabinets and new granite counter tops, but still maintains the original Florida bungalow style charm and footprint. This is a 4th generation home of the late Archibald family, who were partially responsible for planned Siesta community and is uniquely built with so much character. This house has the original hard wood floors, with vaulted ceilings in the living room and large bedrooms.Our cottage home is freshly painted, has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath, 1 half bath (plus an additional outside shower which most guests uses as primary shower) This home has all the original Pecky Cypress Cedar walls/ceilings & hardwood floors throughout the very comfortable fully furnished home.This cottage can handle a 6 person family very comfortably. It has (1) king bed, (2) twin beds and a pull-out sofa bed. It is listed for 6 guests. We charge a fee for every additional person per night with blow up mattress available. Infants 0 to 12 mts. are excluded.The back yard is very private with heated pool, mature trees and where you never know what exotic bird will show up to visit. Outdoor shower, and additional dining and grilling area make a great place to hang anytime of day.My favorite, you are perfectly situated footsteps (318 of mine) away from world famous Siesta Key Beach (Access 7,) Siesta Village amenities of shops, restaurants and bars that have live music and no need for a car, but plenty of parking in the horseshoe style driveway.Fun in the sun:Whether it’s fun on the #1 beach in the USA, relaxation or a little of both, it is all just steps away from our cottage. Want to rent Kayaks or paddle boards for a few days? Arrange for delivery to the house and drop from our private dock in the Canal across the street. Don’t forget great shopping and restaurants in the North Village, jump on the Trolley to the South End, or explore downtown Sarasota and St. Armands Circle via the SCAT Bus just a few blocks away. Don’t want to leave, no need. Siesta Market, drug store, wine shop just around the corner. Yep, it’s all so close and It’s is an island paradise with all the comforts of home.Special Amenities:We want you to have all the amenities of home yet experience the joys and relaxation of a truly island vacation, so we have included WiFi, cable and Smart TV’s to utilize your movies apps should you be inclined.Linens, bath & beach towels are all provided.
