This 3-bedroom, 3 full bath cottage is located directly on the beach with beautiful views and direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. The master suite features a king size, euro mattress, writing desk and seating area. A private balcony off the bedroom has cushioned seating area and 2 lounge chairs. The newly renovated master bath has an all-glass shower and separate full bath with a double vanity. A water closet provides extra privacy, and the large walk-in closet will accommodate all your belongings or even a Pac-n-play.On the same second floor level, we have our “bunk room” with two twins over full bunk beds. An ensuite, full bath is newly renovated. A DVD/TV combo is in this room for unwind time or lazy rainy days.The first floor features a guest room with Queen bed and closet. A Flat screen smart TV with access to Netflix, Amazon, etc. An adjacent full size bath is accessible from the bedroom or living areas.When you enter the home, you will be immediately looking at the amazing views of the beach and Gulf of Mexico. A large flat screen smart TV is in the living area with a DVD player and Bluetooth speaker for playing tunes. The open floor plan allows for easy family entertainment while enjoying meals and conversation.The dining table sits 6-8 comfortably with extra seating at the bar for 3. The large open kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked to serve up to 12 with everything you could imagine to prepare those special meals.The entrance provides extra storage for shoes, towels or personal belongings with baskets above for unsightly things. Those beach toys are so sandy and can be left on the ground lever either behind the storage wall or in your own storage closet on ground floor.The ground floor is also the perfect place for grilling that fresh catch of the day or enjoying shrimp from the local shops. Just be sure to bring your own charcoal briquets for the grill. An outdoor shower also makes for easy clean up after a fun day at the beach.If the beach isn’t enough, just drive down to the Pointe West common area where, for an extra fee you will find a large Infiniti Pool, toddler pool, and hot tub. An adjoining restaurant and bar make it easy to wind own after a fun day or just stay in your lounger for pool side dining. A game room and fitness center are located here as well for your enjoyment. A second pool is located a little further down the road on the bayside of the community. Our Sunset Pool is heated and has a small lazy river and hot tub. There is a fire pit, gas and charcoal grills for guests use. If you choose to purchase the wristbands to use the community amenities, you will need to bring ID to pick up them at the beach club office.We hope you will choose to stay with us in the Pointe West Community.WRISTBAND POLICYThe Property Owners Association (POA) at Pointe West collects a wristband fee of $25 per guest for each guest over the age of 4 (children younger than 4 do not pay) for use of the Beach Club and Sunset Pools during your stay at Pointe West. This is a onetime fee during your stay, not a daily fee. No wristbands are required to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Pointe West this fee is only for use of pools, fitness center, and other amenities. A reservation has been made in your name for your rental period at Pointe West. The wristbands are available at the Beach Club reception every day during business hours (9-5 off season, 9-6 peak season). The physical address for the Beach Club is 4161 Pointe West Drive, Galveston, TX. 77554. You do not have to purchase a wristband to enjoy the restaurant/bar at Pointe West. Your reservation will allow you to receive a temporary band to enjoy this business amenity.PLEASE NOTE: RESTAURANT IS CLOSED ON MONDAY’S DURING THE SPRING/SUMMER TO RESTOCK AND CLEANAFTER LABOR DAY UNTIL OCTOBER 30, RESTAURANT IS CLOSED ON MONDAY AND TUESDAYTHE RESTAURANT AND GIFT SHOP ARE CLOSED FROM NOVEMBER 1-MARCH 1 EVERY YEARFITNESS CENTER, GAME ROOM AND POOLS ARE OPEN YEAR ROUNDTHE SUNSET POOL ON THE BAYSIDE OF POINTE WEST IS HEATED FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT YEAR-ROUND. THE BEACH CLUB POOL IS NOT HEATED AS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP AN INFINITY POOL WARM. BOTH POOLS HAVE LARGE HOT TUBS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.
