Perfect for a relaxing family, couples getaway, or FRIENDS weekend. Conveniently located to Indiana Dunes National Park and Warren Dunes State Park. Short drive to Harbor Country activities, quaint downtown or Prime outlet shopping, 2 Casinos, Silver Creek Event Center, Wineries, Breweries. We are very family friendly, to include infants and pets! This Charming cottage is BIG on comfort. Please note: We are updating our cottage between guests until the entire cottage is upgraded. We are updating pictures as we finish each room. If the cottage is slightly different from when you originally booked I can promise you it will be for the better. Our goal is to elevate the current cottage aesthetic yet have it still feel like your grandmas cozy home that you feel the most comfortable in. There are many seating areas in home and yard for enjoying a book, your favorite beverage or watching the kids play. Good stock of games and movies for family time. We provide a pack n play along with the pack n play mattress. Upon request we can also provide an infant tub, or convenient items such as a highchair, sit n stay and toddler toys. Please just let us know what you need and we will try to accommodate. We are lose to bike trails, less than a mile to two beach accesses, and centered between New Buffalo, MI and Michigan City, IN for shopping and restaurants. Indiana Dunes Nat’l Park, Warren Dunes Sate Park, New Buffalo Public Beach, and Washington Park Beach, all within 20 minutes. Entire house and yard are accessible to guest. Wood Burning stove in Kitchen cannot be used due to insurance regulations. Our Guests are our number 1 priority. Please do not hesitate to call or text with any needs during your stay! Tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball courts and playground are 10 minute walk. 9 Hole public golf course open in season (April – Nov.) Lake Michigan Beach access within 1 mile (a 20 minute walk), or contact the host to arrange golf cart (in season) during visit. Amtrak train to New Buffalo, MI stop which is 4 miles from the cottage. Local transportation company info available from host. 4 miles to Silver Event Center and Four Winds Casino. Uber/LYFT not available but host has contacts for transportation companies. We have a golf cart available for rent that you can use to get to the beach, parks, golf and tennis courts. Lawn chairs, beach toys, beach towels are on premises to use in season. 2 bikes are in garage to use (weather permitting) Golf cart rental info can be provided by host. As parents ourselves, we know traveling with children and infants can be stressful. Let us know if there is anything you would like to have set up at the property prior to arrival to make your trip easier.
