Wawona has many swimming holes, several natural waterslides that kids love, and two beloved, easy hikes. The Meadow Loop and The Swinging Bridge. To easily access wilderness, which few do, just go out our back door. Google Secret Yosemite Wawona, South Fork of the Merced Wild and Scenic Recreation Corridor, or Best California Swimming Holes on the Chilnuala Falls Trail (pick up Timothy H. Joyce’s book, Swimming Holes of California for descriptions and directions too often private swimming holes, some within only a 15-minute hike and/or boulder scramble. Go exploring!The loft with a Queen size bed is over the kitchen with views out of the many windows as well as overlooking views of the living and dining rooms.
