Welcome to Bear Footin’, the perfect family getaway cabin! Nestled in the woods just above the Chattahoochee River in downtown Helen, Bear Footin’ is a short walk to shops, activities, and our amazing restaurants. It’s the perfect home base for your alpine getaway!Take an exhilarating ride on the Georgia Mountain Coaster, an extreme Zip Line Canopy tour . . . or maybe a leisurely tube ride down the Hooch or a stroll along the Hardman Farm Trail is more your style. Whatever your plans include, Bear Footin’ is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy family time at the end of a fun filled day. Bear Footin’ is set up perfectly to house generations of family. The lower level has its own entry way, regulation size pool table, living area with gas fireplace, queen bedroom, full bath, washer/dryer closet, and a kitchenette with bar seating — no steps required!The main level has an inviting open plan with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area that seats 8 comfortably at the table, with additional bar seating as well. There’s plenty of couch space, a beautiful gas fireplace, and flat screen TV. Two bedrooms with shared full bath complete the main floor. The upstairs loft area is great for the kiddos and adults alike. Two twin beds and a full bed offer plenty of sleeping space, along with a half bath. The large windows are perfect for star gazing before heading off to sleep. The king master is also located upstairs, with its own private screened porch on the back of the cabin, and a full adjoining bath. The covered front porch with rockers, gas grill, picnic table and hot tub is THE gathering spot for your group to enjoy the great outdoors at Bear Footin’.
