Located on Smith’s Point, a tranquil peninsula at the western tip of Nantucket, this home offers views of both the bay and the ocean! Just a 2-3 minute walk to either Madaket Bay or Madaket Beach! Choose the Bay Side for calmer water or Beach side for waves and surf. The Bay side is perfect for families with young children and for Stand-Up Paddle Boarding or kayaking. A short 5-minute walk over a picturesque wooden bridge leads to the bike path, small general store and ice-cream stand, Millie’s Restaurant (dine-in & take-out) and shuttle service to/from Nantucket town. Famous for spectacular sunsets, Smith’s Point offers visual splendor well into the evening hours.This “upside down” house’s great room, kitchen and dining area are on the second floor so guests can thoroughly enjoy the breathtaking water views. The fully equipped kitchen features a central island with stool seating, and the adjacent large dining area comfortably accommodates ten people. Guests can enjoy the sweeping water views and stunning sunsets from the expansive deck.
