A skier shuttle bus to Beaver Creek Village (Gondola/lift access) can be picked up from Nottingham Park on Lake Street (a very short walk from the unit). There are also several parking lots at the base of the mountain. We are only a short drive (10 minutes) from Vail mountain.SUMMER:Nottingham Lake serves as the central headquarters for Avon’s summer activities in the park. The Town of Avon has partnered with Stand Up Paddle Colorado to offer recreation activities on the lake during the summer months from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day weekend from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. They offer pedal boat rentals, stand up paddle board rentals, and kayak rentals. There is also a large park/playground area for children. The Terrace at the Avon Performance Pavilion offers special events and music performances on Sunday nights by local musicians. Enjoy a spectacular sunset and great music while lounging on your SUP board or paddle boat on Nottingham Lake, the North shore beach or South lawn of the Pavilion.
