Enjoy a day at the beach since Hunting Island State Park is only a 12 mile drive with a naturalistic beach, walking trails and a light house. Beaufort Waterfront (Waterfront Dining, Shops and Kid’s new playground) , Parris Island and Port Royal (Sands Beach where there are tons of sharks teeth to find) are all a short drive away. Dockside, Johnson’s Creek Tavern, Foolish Frog are local restaurants located on Lady’s Island and Saint Helena Island.
