This residence is located on “Million Dollar Row” – Bird Rock, La Jolla – nestled on a tree-line street of multi million dollar singe family homes. This residence is a carriage house to the main home and is a unique loft configuration. An airy loft with soaring 14-feet ceiling and well appointed craftsman details offering you stunning ocean and city views from the roof top terrace. This home is in the heart of Bird Rock mere blocks to the waters edge and La Jolla Blvd. where you will find great boutiques, restaurants and one of the best coffee houses San Diego has to offer.The loft features central airconditioning (even though really not needed as so close to the beach that the residence enjoys the cool ocean breezes) !The first level of the loft is a finished ground level that features a Bistro kitchen and lounging area with large sofa for relaxing or watching TV . This level also contains a full-size stacked washer and dryer and there is ample room for you to store bicycles, etc. The second level is the loft living space that has queen plush mattress bed (can fold up into murphy cabinet), and comfortable sitting area, a bath with rain-head shower, ample built-in storage cabinets/closet. The top level is a wonderful, ocean-view roof terrace with lounge chairs for sunning and BBQThe craftsman style details are noticeable throughout the home from the custom built-ins to hardwood floors to the amazing stain-glass windows and light fixtures found throughout the home. The space is a beautiful balance between being very open but still cozy and is full of natural light.Street parking is offered and is very easy to find in this area.Bird Rock is only a quick 10 min drive into the City of San Diego and a 2 min drive to the heart of La Jolla Village. Or better yet, rent cruiser bikes, and bike the great bike trails that connect Bird Rock to the La Jolla Cove and Village.Look forward to having you stay in this airy craftsman loft; this space will not disappoint!
