Creekside Cottage is a cozy mountain cabin known for its relaxing atmosphere offering a comfortable mountain getaway. Our family’s mountain cottage is in a very peaceful mountain setting close to all area attractions, downtown Blowing Rock and Boone. An active stream runs along the back deck, under the hot tub and around property providing a restful experience for the mind and soul.Gaze up at the bright stars while soaking in a hot tub on the deck right outside the back door or cuddle next to the fireplace after a long day on the numerous hiking trails winding through the Blue Ridge Mountains. A short hike from the cottage, through the woods, leads to The Mountain-to-Sea Trail. Huddle around a campfire in the fire pit and enjoy roasting marshmallows and s’mores. Plenty of firewood and fire starter provided!Nearby ski mountains are Appalachian Ski Mountain (4 miles), Sugar Mountain (22 miles) and Beech Mountain (28 miles). Everyone enjoys snow tubing at Hawks Nest (19 miles).Shopping and gourmet dining in the Village of Blowing Rock is a short five minute drive. Additional shopping and dining available in Boone, only ten minutes from your front door.
