This house was built in 1885 and while it retains its original design, it was completely renovated between 2011 and 2013. Most importantly it is managed by a very experienced and knowledgable property manager who lives nearby. She is happy to correspond with each potential guest and provide individual service.At 103 Bayview, you will enjoy a new kitchen and newly furnished accommodations (including wifi and cable tv), all while breathing fresh ocean air and enjoying the gentle breeze from the water across the street. The house is very comfortable with a true farmhouse feel that invites you to relax as soon as you arrive.The house is perfect for a couple who wish to enjoy the main floor where there is also a master bedroom with connecting full bathroom. Families will enjoy using the master bedroom upstairs and two additional bedrooms. There are lots of board games to play: Scrabble, Monopoly, Clue, Risk, Skipbo and more. There is also a chess set in the living room.Please inquire about bringing your dog (preferably small and one only). The house has a garden in the front and so your dog will need to be walked on the street. Laite Beach park is a two minute walk to the right of the house where there are public doggy bags and a trash can available. Dogs are very welcome there and can swim in the water during designated times. Make sure your dog is up to date on tick and flee medicine when visiting Maine.There is so much to do in Camden and you are welcome to leave your car, bikes, kayaks or other gear in the over-sized garage during your stay. From your front door, you can walk along Bayview Street and both directions will provide you spectacular views from the mountains to the sea. In the evenings, take a stroll to your favorite restaurant, as many are close by, or shop for fresh local ingredients to make the perfect meal for two or for a family dinner around the farm table inside. Take a picnic to Laite Beach (a two minute walk) and watch the sunset. In the mornings enjoy coffee on the covered, wrap-around porch while you decide your day’s activities.
