Blue House – Private LocationBlue House is located in a private setting on Dow Road just outside of Deer Isle village and close to Lily Pond, a favorite swimming spot. While not on water, this cottage is just minutes from the ocean and is perfect for an inexpensive family getaway to the beautiful and rocky coast of Maine. It is also a great overflow house to rent along with one of our other properties in the area. Deer Isle is a favorite vacation spot for visitors who return year-after-year to experience the quiet, unpretentious island of Deer Isle/Stonington, accessible by bridge, and home of lobstermen, boat builders, chefs, artists and writers offering unique shops, restaurants and galleries. Take a day trip to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor and other area towns or just relax, hike and enjoy the scenery of the surrounding area. Internet access included.
