Miami Park is a wonderful community with large lots, and association trams to take you down the bluff to the shoreline.A Note from the Homeowners:Our children grew up on Lake Michigan during the summers at their grandparents’ cottage. We have been looking for a vacation home on Lake Michigan for our family since we sold that cottage in 2015. We have a large family that loves spending time together. This home offered comfortable, open spaces with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone, plus a fantastic view and location. We vacationed as a family in South haven in 2017. That was our first introduction to this quaint, cozy and not too busy lakeshore town. South haven has plenty of great restaurants and bars, wineries, golf, tennis and pickleball. Additionally, groceries and home improvement stores are very convenient. I believe what is unique about our home is the quiet, convenient location, close to the beach trams, along with the ability to enjoy the great views of the Big Lake, especially for the sunsets! from the privacy of our 2nd floor deck.Parking: Driveway parking space for up to 2 vehicles + 1 gravel parking space*Street parking is never permitted in the Miami Park neighborhoodPets: Pets are allowed at this property*Only one dog may be permitted to be on this property at a timeHot Tub Access: Hot tub is available for use Memorial Day through Labor Day, with limited exceptions made for the off-peak seasonBeach Access: Neighborhood provides private tram-system to access private community beach*Miami Park Shoreline: The shoreline at Miami Park can change from season to season. As of late August, the trams bring you down to an sandy area above the waterline, with stairs & steps into the lake at either end of the sandy areaTram Access: Electric trams are available along the bluff to traverse the 90 foot bluff. The trams are maintained by the neighborhood association, and Shores cannot guarantee that trams will be fully functional every day of your stay. The association may need to close the trams to address repairs, routine maintenance or recharging the batteries that provide the power to move the platforms. Guests are asked to follow the tram operating instructions so the trams stay operational for everyone in the neighborhood
