The cottage has 2 additional full baths upstairs, a dining room that seats 8, a first-floor sunporch, a huge well-equipped and well-stocked eat-in kitchen, and a large primary bedroom suite with its own fabulous sunroom with 180 degree ocean views.Located on an island with bridge access and surrounded by water on 2 sides, this spectacular house exudes old Maine charm and is the perfect home base to explore Maine’s Mid-Coast region. It is only 20 minutes to the restaurants and shops of Brunswick and Bath and to Bowdoin College, 30 minutes to Freeport and Wiscasset, and 45 minutes to Portland as well as to Boothbay Harbor and the Maine Botanical Garden.Enjoy the quiet neighborhood and island living, perfect for relaxing and watching the tides and local wildlife — including bald eagles, great blue herons, foxes, and mink — who call the island home.
