Enjoy an evening glass of wine outside on our deck or cook a big dinner in our gorgeous entertaining living room + kitchen area and share it with the whole family. Grill out on our deck and relax in our basement area, complete with a big wall-mounted TV for your favorite movies! Not only a short drive to downtown Milford, but also a quick drive to areas like West Bloomfield (10 min), Novi (20 min), Northville (30 min), and Plymouth (30 min). A bedroom and full bathroom with standup shower along with a small office, the living room and the kitchen are located on the ground floor. Down the steps, to the lower level, the finished basement has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom along with a second living room.Arrive with Ease_____________Enjoy a seamless check-in experience with keyless digital access. Check-in anytime that fits your schedule, after 3:00 pm. If you’d like an early check-in, shoot us a message the day before your stay. If no other guest is checking out, you’re welcomed to check-in anytime!Rest in Comfort_____________Sink into soft, plush memory foam mattresses, hypoallergenic down alternative microfiber comforter, crisp clean linens, and extra blankets for the winter in each of our bedrooms. Stay rested with blackout drapes in each bedroom.Please note that the house is a split-level home, so a couple of the lower level/ basement bedrooms have slightly lower ceilings.Sleeping Arrangements_____________In addition to four queen beds, we have a queen-sized pullout couch and a queen size air mattress too if needed! For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.Parking_____________We have a garage that fits 2 cars, with room for 2 – 3 additional cars in our driveway. We are located on a safe, quiet street which also provides plenty of additional parking if you need it!Entry_____________The house is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door and on the back door. To access the house, enter the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock.When leaving, enter that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock.Extra Sleeping Arrangements_____________Pullout couch: Underneath the horizontal seat you will find two fabric handles. Pull them out from under the couch and raise up the extra mattress section from underneath the couch. Remove the couch pillows to make space for two!Extra Linens: Underneath the chaise section of the couch you will find four bath towels and four hand towels, two pillows, a comforter, and two sets of sheets and pillowcases.Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.Message us to schedule a quick call if you have any issues!Our Neighborhood_____________This house is centrally located in Commerce Township for easy access to the Milford/Fenton areas as well as the Novi/Northville and Birmingham/Royal Oak areas (among many others!). Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm.- Please leave your shoes at the door.- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.- No smoking – also, don’t discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky.- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.Getting Around_____________While access to public transportation is not easily available from our house, UBER and LYFT run consistently in the area and are quick, cheap, and accessible options to get anywhere in the SE Michigan areas!Message us to schedule a quick call if you have any issues!
