With lots of TLC and loving care, we rehabbed this house from being a ‘tear down’ to a TREASURE! It has been featured in several national magazines because of its unique characteristics. It is totally made of metal. That is right….metal. It is called a “Lustron”.This home was built in 1949 so travelers need to understand what they are renting. A forgiving person who can ignore a little draft. And as a disclaimer this is on a busy road so there can be street traffic.Other things to noteI was born here, went to college here, started a thriving business here, and found true love here. But I’ve been to many other cities and countries and believe, wholeheartedly, that I live in the best city in the world.There’s just so much to do whether you love culture – museums, galleries, theater, music, nightclubs – or are drawn to more outdoor activities like hiking, biking, strolling through historic districts and/or checking out all the modern marvels. And it’s family friendly as well – zoos, children’s museums, and the Georgia Aquarium.Totally one of a kind. We hang our photo with suction cups and magnets. This property is on the National Historic Register.
