BuckWild cabin. Within hiking distance of Au Sable River with it’s Quality fishing trophy rainbow and brown trout /Hunting/Canoeing and Kayaking/BullGap ORV/Wolf Creek frontage/ Birding — famous Kirtland’s Warbler spring/summer nesting and yes they are real. Authentic Rustic Cedar Log -PermaLog Cabin. Very peaceful cedar and pine private acreage. Large campfire pit. BuckWild IS EXTREMELY rustic…NO HEAT and NO AC other than a small space heater and a box fan provided. bring the woollies Just in case… Also note there is a pet fee….and this is a dog friendly cabin. So sorry but cats are not allowed. Fireplace is beautiful, and is operational. enough wood is supplied for 1 fire per day. We are still improving the fireplace from inside out and top to bottom. No more dingey standup shower stall. 32×60 shower with modern fixtures and new oak floor. It is fabulous and far more spacious for your most discerning guests. And yes the 18 gallon water heater was trashed in favor of a gas fired on demand whole house unit….enabling us to utilize a future antique clawfoot tub (hopefully by spring 2025. as of today’s date this tub is still on the drawing board) in addition to an unlimited supply of the best northern Michigan hot water in both the tub and shower simultaneously if desired. No more 3 to 5 minute showers. Anticipation!New for 2024. joining the modern Era in a small way…..added a smart TV for those wanting to stream. wifi is online. also updating kitchen countertop and sink… wait til you see this splashy update.Additional note….please be accurate on reservations. The 150 per night is for 2 persons. All additional persons are 35 each per night. And dog fees are additional as well.
