It is just a short walk to Big Bear Snow Play & the Convention Center (Oktoberfest, Wyatt’s, Farmers Markets etc.). Other close attractions: 1.8 miles Lake/Beach access, 3.3 miles to Big Bear Mountain Ski Resort, 3 miles to Alpine Zoo, 4.2 miles to the Village, 1.8 miles to Vons/Stater bros#6040Game Room: The large detached game room offers fun for everyone. Enjoy a game of pool or shuffleboard, have a cocktail at the bar while watching a movie on the 63 in TV, or hang out and play one of the many other games available. This space has a small futon couch.The inside of the cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms with tubs/shower in each. The vibe inside is cozy-cabin with a hint of mid-century modern flair. Grab a blanket, some popcorn and snuggle up with the family in the living room next to the wood burning stove and watch your favorite flick on the smart TV with Netflix. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare your own meals (we are talking holiday meal making status), but if you rather dine out there are plenty of wonderful options nearby. Coffee & Tea bar also provided.The master bedroom has a queen sized bed with an attached bathroom. This space is dark, quiet and cozy. The 2nd bedroom has a queen sized bed. The 3rd bedroom is the bunk room. It has a triple twin bunk bed (2 on one side and a top bunk on the other) with a twin trundle. The top two bunks are made for children. The bottom bunk & trundle can each sleep 1 adult. The bunkroom also has it’s own smart TV. Please note that the sleeping arrangements are most comfortable for no more than 6 adults.Babies & Toddlers: We have a pack n’ play that will fit in any of the rooms. We also have a baby monitor & noise machine to ensure the little babes have a sweet slumber. We also have a high chair and a small kids table with two chairs inside the house.Fenced Yard: In the backyard you can play a game of basketball, hook & ring, giant jenga or simply relax while grilling in the outdoors with the propane BBQ. The multiple activities and the fully fenced in yard makes this the perfect space for families.Firewood: A starter log and one small bundle is provided. Please contact us anytime if you need anything.Our neighborhood offers a great place for family strolls, jogs or runs surrounded by the beautiful pines. Although our street itself is a little busy, any other street in any direction is quiet with very low traffic. We are walking distance from Big Bear Snow Play, the convention center (Wyatt’s grill & saloon) and other food options. Another fun walk, jog or bike is to the Standfield Cutoff marsh & bridge near the east side of the Lake. Ski resorts & the Village is just a short drive away.Our cabin is perfect for two families, but is not ideal for a group of 8 adults due to the sleeping arrangements having a bunk room that is made for children.There’s plenty of wildlife since our cabin is nestled in a majestic wooded area. That can cause unexpected wildlife appearances on the property ranging from ants, spiders, raccoons, bobcats, to bears. Please be mindful that this was their home first before we harmoniously moved into share their territory. If wildlife visits during your stay, as our backyard is the National Forest, we will not issue a refund if this occurs. We warmly suggest booking elsewhere if this will be an issue for you and your guests. Please be respectful and cautious of the wildlife during your stay and do not feed them.LIABILITY WAIVER: By making your reservation you and the other members in your party as THE GUESTS agree to release THE HOSTS from all liability, including financial responsibility relating to injuries & personal property damage that may occur during your stay.
