Located in the exclusive PRIVATE BEACH AREA, Carlouel section of North Clearwater Beach Island, Caladesi House, with private swimming pool, approximately 1700 square feet, 100 yards from one of the finest white powder sugar beaches in the USA.From the house one can walk north along the beach to Caladesi Island State Park. The only other way to reach Caladesi Island is with a ferry from Dunedin, but due to our location, it is a scenic walk, very private walk with very few tourists. Upon reaching Caladesi Island which is joined to Clearwater Beach, one feels like approaching paradise. Most maps show the two islands as separated, but they have since joined together.By the way, the house is very near the location of the Warner Brothers movie, Winter, the Dolphin Tale, starring Morgan Freeman. The dolphin can be seen at the Clearwater Marine Acquarium, 5 minutes from the house. You may find something cheaper on the mainland,in a condo or on a canal, but here you are; on the beach, no fighting traffic jams, searching and paying for parking plus if it rains, in two minutes you are back at the house.Where you will be staying is in the private beach north end of the island, a section called Carlouel. This is where the prominence of Clearwater live to include Mary Proctor of Procter & Gamble, the Alcoa family, TV anchorwoman Greta Van Susteren, Checkers Hamburger chain family and the Bacardi Rum family. Take a walk around the neighborhood to view the mansions and don’t miss the Carlouel Yacht Club, a vision of elegance and architectural style reminiscence of scenes from the 1940s.
