The unit features over approximately 1,000 square feet of livable space, brand new queen beds, a modern and equipped kitchen (gas stove, microwave, but no oven); bathroom with custom tile work, and a LED HDTV ROKU TV with high-speed wireless internet.The apartment is located within walking distance of everything you need and want to see: the National Mall, Whole Foods, H Street, Trader Joe’s and Lincoln Park, but there are also two Metro stops within a 10 minute walk (Eastern Market and Union Station) and several bus stops within a block. Also, there are several bus touring companies that begin at Union Station that I highly recommend.This is a well established tight knit neighborhood with a lots of senators, families, dog parks, old Victorian homes, and tree-lined streets. Eastern Market, Barracks Row (8th street) and the H Street Corridor are flooded with restaurants and great shops. Breakfast at Market Lunch (Eastern Market) is known for its Blueberry pancakes (likely the best in town). Union Station and Eastern Market are the closest Metro stations less than a 10 minute walk away. Just a couple of blocks to the Senate, Supreme Court, U.S. Capitol.
