Description
Casita Del Mar – A Quaint 1929 Spanish Cottage in Beautiful Monterey* This is not a listing for a short term rental, I neither advertise, nor promote it as such. Feel free to contact me should you have questions regarding the 30 day rental minimum city restriction.This quaint cottage is near everything Old Monterey has to offer has lovely hardwood floors, a cozy family room, an eat in kitchen, a separate laundry room, and three comfortable bedrooms. The smallest bedroom has a queen sized bed and a standard 6 foot closet with shelves and rod for clothes storage. The middle bedroom has a queen sized bed, small dresser, wicker chair, and standard 6 foot closet. The main bedroom has an attached bathroom with a shower over tub, antique pine dresser and long bench, and walk in closet. All bedrooms have premium linens, excellent mattresses, and the main and middle room beds have high quality memory foam toppers. In addition, there is a small hall bathroom with a shower. The kitchen has solid granite counters, a fireclay Shaw farm sink, gas stove and all basic equipment necessary for cooking. The kitchen also opens to a lovely brick deck with comfortable patio seating in order to relax with coffee or wine. There is a large fenced in back yard with seating and a BBQ, as well as a smaller fenced in front yard. There is a large driveway for off street parking that can fit up to three cars if needed. Beach items, chairs, beach toys and towels are available as well as coolers for picnics. Walk just a few minutes to Del Monte Beach, Dennis the Menace playground and pedal boats, or the coastal trail for a run-walk-bike, walk10 minutes the tennis courts or to the Monterey Sports Center for an indoor swim/work out or sauna, walk 15 minutes to Fisherman’s Wharf, downtown, Trader Joe’s, museums, the Del Monte Shopping center and Cinemark theaters, many restaurants so much more. Drive about 10 minutes, and you are at Cannery Row, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach for Golf. A little farther, Laguna Seca Raceway, Carmel Valley and the wineries, Point Lobos, and stunning Big Sur!This cottage is close to everything!Absolutely no smoking in or on the property, no loud parties, no events hosted on premises, no subletting, no drugs allowed. This is a family neighborhood.
