Outdoor enthusiasts will also be thrilled to learn there are nine different state parks and five golf courses in the area to explore as well. Bikers will adore the vast trail system nearby, and winter activities are similarly abundant with the area’s stellar ice fishing and snowmobiling opportunities. For those who prefer the thrill of skiing, eight different ski resorts are within two hours away.
